Forest Farm Oasis

Nestled in an enchanting forest of redwood trees and ferns, lies a treasured, eco-friendly/sustainable nano-farm, waiting for you to explore & enjoy. Stay in one of our on-farm suites and experience firsthand the bounty and beauty of life on a small mountain farm in the bay area.

Private Rooms

Start your stay with a guided tour of the farm to meet the animals. Relax in the courtyard and sample our cheeses with fresh baked sourdough bread. Observe our cheese making process and learn to work with sourdough starter in cheese and bread making tutorials. For the adventurous guests, consider taking a walk along the nearby beach or hike through the breathtaking redwood trails of Nisene Mark State Park next door. Join us for a seasonally inspired evening meal, much of which is grown on site. In the morning enjoy hot tea or coffee as you try your hand at milking goats, followed by breakfast. If you are staying multiple nights, we have a host of other workshops and tutorials depending on your interest, including soapmaking, fermentation, broom weaving, pasta making, and other culinary skills.

Amenities

This is a rustic mountain property, and we would love to show you around, introduce you to all of the animals, and share our story with you. Until introductions have been made, we must ask that all guests refrain from interacting with the animals for their safety and yours. Without organization prior to your arrival, no interaction is guaranteed. All of our animals are very friendly! The goats are strong and heavy, so it is important that we are around to supervise. Be sure you are wearing closed-toe shoes in case they get super close to you, hoping for treats.
